Royal Tongan Airlines not the solution Tonga: Also leasing a plane is not the answer to cheaper air-travel and the state that Tonga is in with its own economic crisis and a election date coming near Tonga should not be spending large amounts on a plane for air travel but to spend the money on more important things and besides we got a city to build and not to mention the loans!!!!!!! - George. 29 May 2009, 12:43

Tonga needs a Royal Tongan Airlines Mangere East, Auckland: Air New Zealand have a lot to answer for they advertise $150 fares, but never have I ever been able to book and access this fare. Not only are the poor people of Tonga subjected to these ridiculous fares, but the Tongan government is subsidizing Air New Zealand, for over one million dollars per year. - Sione Fa’uku. 29 May 2009, 05:15

Sunday air service an issue for public debate Nuku'alofa, Tonga: Sue Gardiner [Air New Zealand] called to request consideration of "re-scheduling" the Saturday night flight to a daylight Sunday flight. This requires a Cabinet decision so I called the Prime Minister and we considered that a reschedule could not be accommodated at that time. . . . Are Tongans Christian or Jewish? Australia: Billions of Christians around the world must be sinners in the eyes of the Tongan people for playing and working on Sunday.
