Loloahi pleads not guilty to fraud

Loloahi Tapui of Leimatu'a, Vavau, the former housekeeper for British Attorney General Baroness Scotland, appeared in court in London and pleaded not guilty to fraud and possessing a fake passport on December 7.

Many bereaved families from the Ashika ferry disaster have expressed a need for assistance in financing the education of their children, said Sione Tupouniua, an American Tongan, who completed a two-week fact-finding mission to Tonga at the weekend.

World-record holder Tahnee Afuhaamango has got to be Tonga's best-kept secret. The young Tongan-Australian swimming sensation not only became the overall World Female Champion at the Down Syndrome International Swimming Organisation Championships in Portugal last December, but over the last four years she has smashed world records and won several gold medals representing Tonga.

Nuku'alofa, Tonga: When the Arizona Cardinals meet the Pittsburgh Steelers to decide the Super Bowl XLIII Championship on Monday (Sunday USA time) in Tampa Florida, watched by most of the United States, a Tongan is going to be a champion. Because this year both teams have Tongan-born players as starters. Taitusi "Deuce" Lutui (25), is guard for the Cardinals; while Chris Kemoeatu (26) is an offensive guard for AFC champions the Steelers.
