A SPECIAL PROGRAMME for the 55th Anniversary of the Pan Pacific and South East Asia Women's Association Tonga branch last week, concluded with a special programme at the Queen Salote Memorial Hall on Saturday morning.
Organised by the women of the Langafonua 'a Fafine Tonga, fine handicrafts were displayed, along with displays by the Philippino and American communities in Tonga.

Prizes for village programmes held during the week, were presented by the guest of honour Hon. Fredrica Fatafehi Lupe'uluiva Tuita. These included prizes for handicrafts, sewing, cooking, traditional garland making and floral arrangement, poultry, piggery, clean, beautiful and well planned home, handicraft display, and village inspections.
A welcome address was given by the PPSEAWA President Tuna Fielakepa.
